Proof of Concept

To demonstrate the value that Active Navigation can bring to an organisation we offer a fixed price Proof of Concept taking a subset of an organisation’s data (<250Gb) and run it through the Active Navigation process. The outcome and results of this process will highlight benefits and enable an ROI to be calculated for a larger project.

Scope

The POC scope will cover:

• Installation and configuration of the Active Navigation Software
• Data Discovery on up to 250 GB of data (excluding duplication analysis), identifying redundant, obsolete, trivial data and policy violations such as where suspected unauthorized access may occur.
• Data cleansing on up to 100 GB data.  This element will identify duplicate content and enable your organisation to remove duplicate content if so desired
• Detailed analysis on up to 100 GB of data, including metadata extraction/ creation and potential folder structure rationalisation across the data.  This will highlight how current and historic data can be prepared for migration to the most appropriate repository
• The detailed analysis will also highlight how a business classification scheme can be applied consistently to all content.
• Detailed Audit Report outlining key findings and recommendations

A detailed Audit Report is the main deliverable and can be used as a major element of the business case for discovery, cleansing, rationalization and migration across  the organisation. As part of the output we will also provide an ROI estimation based on the findings from the analysis of the representative data utilized for the POC.
