Migration to SharePoint
Implementing solutions with SharePoint (e.g. document, records or content management) typically involves some form of data migration in order to preserve the intellectual capital of an organisation’s legacy systems.
We have many years experience performing technically complex data migrations between a diverse range of technologies for many different organisations, including Open Text Livelink, FileNet Panagon, NT and Unix fileshares. Our experience will allow us to guide, instruct and inform our approach that would be impossible otherwise.
After implementing a content management system in SharePoint and migrating content into it, previous systems can be switched off often saving significant amounts on maintenance and preventing the build of unmanaged content in these redundant systems.
