Swift introduce our Kofax connector product for SharePoint. Designed to improve the way documents are scanned from Kofax and classified into SharePoint, this tool is a must for organisations that are looking to move hardcopy documentation into their SharePoint environment.

With our specialisation in delivering Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions using SharePoint and Kofax, we have developed two sophisticated “Export Connectors” to link Kofax Capture & Kofax Express to SharePoint.

They have been deployed across a number of client sites managing hundreds and thousands of scanned images into SharePoint repositories.

The Kofax Capture Export Connector is now certified for use with SharePoint 2010

We have developed the Export Connectors to work specifically with SharePoint and within a Document and Records Management setting.

Features for the Kofax Capture Export Connector include:

• Enabling the Site URL and Library to be dynamically derived from Kofax metadata. It is therefore possible to release to different Sites and Libraries using Business Rules defined in the validation script.
• Enabling documents to be released to existing SharePoint folders, or have the release script create new folders on the fly. Folder names can be built dynamically using a combination of Kofax Capture fields or static values.
• Enabling Content Types to be derived using business rules based on the content on the captured image or Kofax metadata.
• Deltascheme’s Upload Web Service provides an advanced document release using a custom Web Service installed on the SharePoint Server. This Web Service can be customised to perform additional tasks such as the updating of line-of-business applications with the document URL. It also provides a robust mechanism for the upload of very large documents (>150MB).
• Creating document filenames using Kofax Capture and static values.
• Linking SharePoint Columns to Kofax Capture values including the ability to concatenate multiple values to create new values for SharePoint columns.
• Supporting Document Sets in SharePoint 2010 by allowing new Document Sets to be created and scanned documents to be added to Document Sets
