The new Business Connectivity Services (BCS) in SharePoint and Office integrate fully into the K2 experience for improved productivity of both designers and end users.
The new support for claims-based authentication between SharePoint and K2 makes configuration a breeze. K2 is leveraging Outlook Solutions to surface K2 work items in Outlook. Investments in K2 today leverage the new capabilities in SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010.
“K2 has been working very closely with the SharePoint 2010 team, since shortly after the Office 2007 release, to ensure campatibility K2 releases will be ready as soon as possible after Microsoft goes to market with its next-generation software,” said Olaf Wagner, senior vice president for product management at K2. “When we deliver this new set of K2 capabilities that leverage Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 features, K2 customers can upgrade free and we’ll offer tools to make migration seamless.”
